The Great Ulu

Woo...just came back from a great ulu chilled-out place..PS Cafe..went with ch,wh and jh..I like the fact that it's away from city..in the middle of no where....and the atmosphere that it creates...cool...There is inside and outside...Inside is brighter and air-coned...Ouside is dimmer but it's as cooling as inside and most important..no mosqitoes...because the place was kind of on the uphill area with trees everywhere...We sat outside because we didn't make reservation beforehand...The price was on the average side...$10-30..They provided dinner also..

The dessert was awesome and sinful....their signature drinks are pineapple Ginger Sorbeeze($7.50) and Crushed Mint & Lime Soda ($7)..i think i recommended wrongly to chunhoo..=P sorry...but their signature dessert are Double Chocolate Black-Out Cake($10.90)(we ordered this) and Sticky Date Pudding($10.90)...It's marvellous...I will definitely want to go there again..=D Hope to find more such places to dine and chill-out..=P

Rudebox

It's a dissapointment that Robbie Williams cancelled his concert in Asia..so wanting to see his live performance...but nevertheless, his latest eighth album rudebox is out and it Rockx....=)An highly anticipated album since the press first caught wind of it,Rudebox saw Robbie William collaborating with an array of musical moverick, including his heroes the Pet Shop Boys, king of ambient William Orbit, fellow Stroke natives Danny Spencer and Kelvin Andrews,disco-house icon joey Negro and NYC-based DJ and producer Mark Ronson.The 16 tracks are a collection of new and original composition.Totally worth it..=D

My Dream Cafe

Today i spent a bit of time thinking..what do i want? I really hope to venture into things that i love...for example..i like interior design, desserts, coffee, tranquility...If i ever got a chance..i really hope to build a glass cafe designed all by myself...named it KyuuCafe...situated near the coast on a patch of green...there is indoor and outdoor...customers can enjoy the beautiful scenery of sunset/sunrise and sea breeze while enjoying the best coffee and desserts ever tasted...At the same time, people can sit back,relax chit-chat and feels the peacefulness...No stress , No worries...Isn't life great like that!?...

The best is that i could build another glass house..something like the lake house...the open concept...so much of freedom...away from cities,cars,...I just love it...It's a dream that i would want to fight for...

独唱情歌

Today, went for K session with xiao yan..decided to go to the Kbox at Lucky Chinatown..there is lesser people and better air-con...=) I reached that place earlier so i got some drinks at Mac and at the same time wait for xiaoyan to arrive...Then something funny happened..There is this group of female koreans..about 5 of them...came to squeeze at the six seats table with me....the strange thing is that the Mac was pretty empty...and they rather share the table with a stranger than get another set of empty table nearby...a six seats table also...so considerate of them to not wanting to take up seats(sarcastic)..i felt so uneasy with another korean sitting next and opposite me....as if i am being surrounded..so i quickly finished my drink and went up to the Kbox and wait...then xiaoyan messaged me to go in 1st...Today,I chose a lot of duet songs and sang most of them by myself...because most of the duet songs she was unfamiliar...I really like Vivian and gary's I still believe...very nice...

Recently, saw another MTV..a duet by 卓文萱 & 曹格梁山伯与茱丽叶...really nice also...ok about one more weeks till the start of semester two..should i be looking forward? Why can't we just work and learn the things we like at the same time?...=p then everyone will be working what they will be doing in future...so good...time and money not wasted also...

From U to m'E'

-_-' something is wrong with the blogger again..need to retype..Ok..yesterday went to NUS for a run with dezhi..was suppose to run at 6..but his lecturer got alot of things to say so push until around 8...luckily he told me beforehand..but i still waited for about 45mins...During the wait, i saw this architecture guy carrying his modelwork...it looks like a open-theatre on a slope of stairs...not really special..but the exercution was good...The run was the usual around NUS..but the slope seems so much harder to climb..because it's been 3 weeks since i ran this route...At least still managed to finish it.=) After the run.. we decided to went out for dinner so we called chunhoo along for his supper..but he was playing DOTA!!..zz...he say see 1st...so we went ahead 1st to Beauty World because that is the place which opens 24 hrs..when we reached there..i realized it's still Hari Raya and the shops won't be opening...luckily there are other stores...i caught an eye on the xiao long bao at Killiney...so we ate there...it's been so long since i ate xiao long bao..i think the last time was during the taiwan trip...so 怀念..I want to go oversea!!

Today recieved a good news...I got into my Int. Design...and will be in class 1E-ID5...think everyone who chose ID as 1st choice all got into the same class...haha...currently, there is jac, nora and eileen..not sure evi and liu li got into as well..hopefully...then there will be so many familiar faces to work with..=D..Ok need to rest..going for K session tomorrow..=)　养精蓄锐

ASS Results

Woot...checked the student website today and saw my assessment results for sem 1...a total of 7 modules taken..and another 7 to go for year 1...The results came out not really what i expected...some i thought won't get A got A..and those that i thought got A became B...For example..how did i get A for 2D though i like 3D better...Damn...Haiz...the GPA is so hard to get 3...Need at least a B for all modules...Oh well...work harder for next sem...

The Pledge,The Turn,The Prestige

Oh..it's me again..=) Today, i went to watch the Prestige with ch,wh and mz at PS..when we reached there we only managed to get a 3-1 seats..3 in front row and 1 at 3rd row...lol...but luckily the seats is not the vivocity typed seats or else my neck will sure cramp...Talking about the movie...The Prestige is about the rivalry between two magician....Their ultimate goal...to invent the best magic ever performed...The show also unraveled the ugly side of magic...No Pain No Gain...All about making sacrifices...Overall..it's another movie worth watching...

Oh..i went to my school's website and found out that i got outstanding payment for second semester..which means i will be going into semester 2-still not known of what course i will be in... but I WANT MY RESULTS...and if i paid by CPF do i still need to re-submit another form for this semester??...Hmm...better go check it out...

Back On Track

Oh..the feeling of running is back...after 2 weeks of not running due to haze and other events...It's quite refreshing after a run...but my stamina kind of deterioate..haha...felt difficult to catch a breath just now...maybe it's because of the haze also...cause my throat to dry off very fast...I think i should start swimming also since i got time now...maybe next week..=) The working out feel is back...Yeah...Take things easy as it goes...Running helps to de-stress and vent ur unhappiness in a healthy way...Results are still not out..what's wrong man...

往事只能回味

Just now when i went for dinner...i saw this bunch of kids playing with sparklers...they were lit the sparklers and throw them onto a tree...so the tree looks like just a sparkling christmas tree ..reminds me of my childhood...I used to play with sparklers like that also...Kind of miss my old neighbourhood also..used to play all sorts of games at void deck..like hide and seek..police and thief..soccer...even baseball...Yeah Baseball...it's the most enjoyable game i played during childhood...we used the trees as base...wooden plank as bat...it's quite dangerous also..because the baseball(tennisball) always got hit onto the road..and it might hit other people also..but we still go with it...=)..

The playground is also another childhood place that i hang around...last time the playground was covered with sands...instaed of rubber..i still remember we used to dig hole and hide inside..damn funny...haiz 往事只能回味...

DeathNote Trilogy

Yesterday went to watch deathnote with chunhoo after his work..Chunhoo wanted to go vivocity so we decided to meet there..We were suppose to watch the 1850 show but it was fully booked..we decided to catch the prestige instaed but it seemed that all the shows at 1800+ all sold out..so in the end we got the 2150 show for deathnote..We had dinner at Kopitiam..as usual...the crowd is always there...After the dinner, chunhoo decided to go home and get the car because by the time the shows end..there will be no buses or train service...So i accompanied him back and drove back to Vivocity for the movie..As there is still sometime we headed to BreadPapa Sweets..it's a pastry shops which sells delicious desserts...the tiramisu seems to be very popular because it was sold out..therefore we got the cheescake sticks..

After that we headed to chocolate art at Vivomart..they sold varieties of chocolates over there..i love the champange and green tea chocolate..After buying, we went for the movie...the movie was awesome...it doesn't seems draggy although they only show until 夜神月 trying to get into the police force..it's only 1/3 of the full story in manga...I am quite sure that they will make the movie into a trilogy...because the second installment is only until the battle between L and 夜神月...that means maybe the 3rd installment will be the battle between N and 夜神月...So 期待 DeathNote 2-The Last Name to be shown...

An Inspirational Drama..我一定行的!!

Recently been watching this japanese drama called "My teacher is a gangster 2"(极道女鲜师2)..It's about a female teacher from a triad background having a passion in teaching...She went to teach in a high school and was assigned to a class of punks and rebellious students...However, she did not gave up on the students and devoted more time to them...Helping them out in problems they made outside school..teaching them the purpose of life and to fight for things they treasured the most..

After watching this show, i got more faith in myself...and i believe that if i really wanted to fight for a industry in design...i should just go for it and not be beaten down by other people's harsh comments...It actually applies to anyone who is currently fighting for the career they want..Just don't give up on hope..take every problem as a challenge and beautified it..加油!! 我们一定行的..

Vivo La Vivo Local

Oh just came back from vivocity...it's big and grand but the walkway seems too narrow for people to walk..The place also looks kind of like unfinished...It's also like a maze..the shops are kind of hard to find..Poor directory...The only good thing is that the view is superb...and it's a shopping paradize...

Actually, was suppose to watch movie with chunhoo and the rest...but most of the people like not free so in the end it was called off...After sometime, dezhi messaged me and asked me out for movie..so 巧..and he recommend to go Vivocity as well...Oh well...since it is predestined and i am free also..i agreed to go...but i feel kind of bad although he was the one asking me out...he seemed to have unfinished work to do....he said he wanted some time-off..on the good side...i should 劝 him to finished his work...but on the bad side...maybe he really need time-off from work...But in the end we still went...lol...I like the designs of the building but i don't like the structure...and placement of pathways, shops, information counter and the wastage of SPACE...To me..a good and successful building should maximize the space and at the same time makes the place looks spacious....but vivocity didn't...we had quite a hard time looking for a dining place...thanks to the lousy directory...In the end we found a dining place called...FoodRepublic...WARNING!! DOn't ever go to foodrepublic and eat because the place sucks...poor internal design..cramp walkway...eerie music...Poor lightings(even though it's for atmosphere..but why does a foodcourt need restuarant-type atmosphere)...Expensive cheapo food...U know laksa can be $6+..WTH...It's a bad experience to eat at such place...worse than market...I think FR won't last for long...it's either they will renovate again or just be gone..

After the dinner we went to catch our movie..You,Me and Dupree..it's a cool movie about friendship with a married couple...and find the -ness in all of us...haha...The movie was good but the seatings was bad...Yes..they make it more spacious for the feet..better armrest which can be lifted up...But the headrest sucks...the headrest was too straight...in a way that it added stress to ur neck after a long time...but i think kai will like it..because he is tall enough to rest on top of the headrest...=P...

After the movie, we decided to head back because dezhi need to continue his work after the time-off...Don't give up k...Try to work harder..There will be time to play hard...I believed you won't fail one la...

Come to think of it..i should try to utilize my holiday...gonna start my [A Kyuu Production] tomorrow...don't bother asking..i won't say until the time came..=D

这世界好小哦

Ok..this is my third time typing this entry..so freaky...the com always auto-shutdown when i finished typing...Ok better type faster..

Yesterday in the morning, i went for the artsy festy @ NAFA...doing some volunteer work as balloon sculpturer...my 1st time doing this...not bad man...thanks to Hashide(dunno whether spelt correctly or not..at least i didn't say LCD like others..haha...=P). The whole event went smoothly and successfully...managed to know better about the other rotaract members...i even had hannna tattoo on my hand..just give it a try...Hope to participate in more such events..Got one funny incident...there was one booth which is fundraising for Laos needy...then Celine pronounce Laos as Tuas...Why would we raised funds for Tuas people...haha...

After the event..i walked to Orchard to meet up with the rest for Uncle Chin's Birthday...As it was still quite early..i went to walk around 1st...bought Kenji's latest album...it's really good...Then an eventful of 巧合...began...I saw nicky with his friends at Orchard...there was some distance so i didn't 和他打招呼...After that, i met up with weifeng,waibin,junyang...and we head to taka...We decided to celebrate Uncle Chin's birthday at 翡翠 restuarant..An expected guest came...Alex!!!...he said somebody invited him..hmm..who could that be? Anyway we just went for the dinner...The price was reasonable for a resturant..around $30 per person..Then the second 巧合 happened...Uncle Chin saw his friend at the restuarant...We bought a cake for him...the cake was damn nice..=) from bakerzin one..

After the dinner...Uncle Chin wanted find another place to drink something...so we head to starbucks...It's been really long since i stepped into starbucks..feels so much like home..lol...and the service was superd...As the place was crowded with people...and we got 8 person somemore...this lady working at starbucks..helped us get the cushion seats which two caucasion lady were seating...She also helped us shift 2 more chairs..After that, she cleared the table making us feel so comfortable...After we ordered, she personally brought the drinks to us...and when there is some wrong order she helped us checked..and brought us the correct one...That is what i called good service...Singaporeans should learn this type of service..

After the drink we headed home...Weifeng and i took bus home..on the bus the 一巧还有一巧巧...met weifeng's secondary school friend...His friend is currently studying at SMU...as usual people who studies look shagged...lol...

And do u this 巧事 is over...Nooo..when i transfered bus back home..i saw a long-time friend 宛璐..she looks quite different now...so funny..we lived so near together but we never met each other for like 5 years...She is now working at a clinic at Ang Mo Kio...She seemed to be working quite well...Have to ask her out sometime to 聚一聚...=)

Yesterday..i just feel that the world is just Damn small la...Friends are just somewhere near u...

Hello..Thank You..Bye...

I must say Sim Lim Square's people are damn farked up...My com went bonkers yesterday...my computer fans are like slowing down also thus heating up the com real fast..So my borther and i went to SLS to fix the com..we went to the place where we bought the CPU..got warranty mah...
Initially, our intention was to get our CPU fixed..we took a cab down some more because it was raining..when we reached that place...that #$%^@$ assisstant took a look and say..ok there is NO PROBLEM WITH THE COM...and he said that the fan slowing down is normal one..it will speed up when the temperature went over 50 degrees...-_-"...I think if it goes over 50 degrees..i will be buying a new com already...but quite strange...he managed to startup the com..which was not ok when it was at home..so he just bugged us off...Farked Up attitude...

The computer also...like SIAO EH...it actually worked when he touched it...As the com seems ok again..we just left...we went to buy a new mouse and some DVD-RW..to make this trip more worthwhile...After that we headed back home..I think if the com goes haywired again..i will just get a new one...waste our time going down to hear a Farked Up assisstant says "Your Com ok what."

Not going to talk about this already..气死我...hmm..yesterday got a phonecall from dezhi asking me out for coffee..actually was suppose to watch movie but the show not out yet..i must be really blurred that time..haha...Had a nice conversation..must go out for K next time..=)
I think holiday is making me senile...i cannot even remember about my running schedule until dezhi told me..have to smack myself for that...next week shall recompose and start running again...No haze will stop me now..

Tomorrow is a BIG day...it's Artsy Festy Day from 1030 -1600...then RSM birthday dinner at Orchard..Please and i really mean it...don't ever MOB tomorrow...i will just DIE!!!

OMG..it's Friday of 13th!!!! NO wonder i so SWAY today...

Forever Friends....

Friends make up a big part of my life...It is them that i learned to know new things...opened up myself...So do you believe in forever friends? I do believe...People can say that i am stupid or ignorant to say this but i do believe in forever friends..There are people around me that always discourage me that frineds don't last..it's all about money...If u are rich...people will flock to you..if u are poor...people will pretend not to see you...To me...i don't put money as the factor in making friends...It's the personality that matters to me...it's the factor to see whether u can get along with him/her...It's quite sad for me because..i think my friends understand me better than my family does...maybe that's how the meaning 当局者迷..旁观者清..came about...I have always been questioned..about my goals..my future...my ambition..It's hard when family don't recognize what i am doing..what i need is encouragment..I feel more at ease when i am with friends...that is the time where i can relax...and stabilize my thoughts...although it always turns out that that my bad mood affected the cheerful atmosphere even though i had tried to keep smiling...I am so sorry that my friends had to bear with my emo most of the time...I was just deep in thought when i stare blindly in the air..I am glad that my friends are able to endure with it...Even when it came to a time when my friends forgotten about me..i will always remember them...because they are my supports to carry on...

Ah Rui's 21st..Phases of his life...

Yesterday went to GuanRui's birthday party...It's his 21st...Time really flies...I have known him since sec1...I have known him for abt 9 years..We share some common interests..like we are both into art..especially crafting...remember the time before enlistment...we set up a small business selling hand-made madarin oranges and made door to door sales at his neighbourhood...we did made a small profit out of it...was really fun...and we also went for camps and oversea community service...These are the best time we had...really enjoyed it and hardly any worries...I really hope to go through these over again with my close friends...

Ok back to the party..it started at 1730..alot of people turned up...his relatives...army friends...church friends..Unifriends...JC friends...We had buffet dinner and around 2130..there was a flash presentation done by rui's sister on his phases of life..baby till now...It was so cool...a great job by his sister...After that rui made a speech on how all the events..the friends he made changed his life...it was real touching...really glad that i made up part of his life..=) Then it was the cake cutting and photos time..The cake was nice...a cow from his blog...haha...Current;y i got no photos..got to ask from him...=)..Hope that we can meet up more often i future..though our holidays may be different...Stay in touch k and hope u like the presents...

Mobilisation FIR

I am so tired now...a whole day of events and i stood until my legs are damn pain now...Just came back from FIR's showcase cum autograph session...Shiok...Let's Get High!! haha...

Early in the morning...i meet the westies to go for the briefing at Pasir Ris Camp...Listen carefully it's B-R-I-E-F-fing...We decided to all wear civilian clothes for the briefing because the dress code was not stated..=P...We share cab at Pasir Ris station...there were 16 of us..just nice ...4 cab...the rest of the platoon defer due to tests today...Pasir Ris Camp is a damn ulu place la...really cannot make it..no busstop...no birds...and this will be our mobilisation venue in future somemore...haiz...
When we head for the brief the Brigade S3 told us that actually today beside the mob briefing..there will also be Tech Mob!!!..WTH...The tech mob is until 2300....How am i suppose to go for my FIR showcase?...There was practically no SMS,e-mails,phonecalls that told us today is tech mob for US!!...so after some verification...the bridgade S3 decided to let us off at 3pm as stated on our website...he also cannot do anything because we also dun have our FBO...=)..so we are able to siam this tech mob...haha...Hope that next week during the Mobilisation Period..they will not call us...PRAY!!!..i still got Artsy Festy at NAFA leh...If i got called back will be damn sian lor....We had our lunch at Pasir Ris Camp...OMG...So much for SFI food...and it still taste as bad....After the mob briefing...we took the free 5 tonner ride back to Pasir Ris MRT...It's been quite long since we mount on to a 5 tonner..I guess there will be more chance in future...haha...

I headed straight to Bishan Junction 8 to meet up with xiaoyan for the FIR showcase cum autograph session...FIR..Rocks!! Dun really like 迷路兵 though...waste the 1st half of the time watching them sing..and they still claim they are FIR's 师弟...Puke*...No way man...They sing with no power one...still want to act like they can ROCK....The showcase was pretty long...lasted from 1830 to 2130...FIR basically sang all the songs except the 北极圈 and 你很爱他...I like 天天夜夜 the best....Wooot...Really enjoyable....got my CDs signed Twice!!! and i manged to took some close up photos...=)...will post them later after i uploaded and bathe 1st...

When i came back, I was listening to my MP3...the song was 夜的第七章...really suits the hazy atmosphere...Just like 夜的第八章....haha....so eerie...i am dying of Haze...It's 150 now!!!! Ok i go bathe 1st...Photos later...
