Oh yeah..i am back..was too sick and tired to blog when i came back from Bandung on 5thJan...been eating, sleeping, playing and eating ,sleeping ,playing...lol..Lots of photos to be posted...a really enjoyable 2008 at Indonesia..thanks to Cecelia's heartwarming and friendly family..

I took one day off from work to prepare for the Bandung trip for the next day...however, it was actually the most hectic day..was rushing around from place to place the whole day...but it was worth it...and i enjoyed the day..had lunch with sec school package at vivocity's Thai express..after that went to clark quay to meet the settlers gang for the last Sunday of the month board games session... Left at 530pm to rush over to Lot1 for Mr Chin's dinner session...have a sumptuous dinner at Farmmart..after that i had to rush over to AMK hub and meet up with the Bandung gang for movie"National Treasure"..feel so bad to Mr Chin and the rest..cause they were actually planning to find a place to drink coffee and talk but in the end..they canceled it because of me...watched the movie until 1200am..then head back home with only 6-8 hours till flying off..and at that time i haven packed anything!!!

As expected..i woke up late...so no choice have to take cab down to airport...cost me 23 bucks...really cannot take taxi now man...Damn EX..when i the meter jump..i also jump..met up with the rest for our last breakfast in singapore2007..the plane delayed for an hour then we start our cam-whoring session...lol..before entering the plane till on the flight till landing...when we reached jarkata..we met up with arlien..she look so blur even though jakarta is her hometown..was lost for a while at the airport..then she called her driver to drive us back to jakarta for lunch and tour around jakarta b4 heading to Bandung...During the tour, we went to eat at a authentic Indonesian restuarant Warung Kopi in a new mall at Jakarta..we were planning to sing K after the lunch..so arlien brought us to another mall..and arlien lead us to an XKTV in that mall...as always blur arlien was activated...the XKTV was actually a bring us to a restuarant..-_-" so no choice, we just have to walk around the mall...eat some more...and went to X-zone and play..After that, arlien brought us to local bus agency..X-trans to book tickets to Bandung..and so we bid farewell to Jakarta and head to Bandung...The journey 2hrs+ nonstop
..sit until my butt CRACKS!!! the mini bus was quite cramp for a 2hrs+ ride..very uncomfortable...when we reached, cecelia's family came to fetch us to their home...her papi is really friendly and because cecelia's parent hardly understand english nor chinese it makes communication with them very funny...we were shock to see her house when we reached...it was huge..a motor showroom at the 1st floor...3 living rooms, 8 bedrooms, 1 playroom, 1 big kitchen...her family consist of her parents,2 sister,2 brothers, a maid...and we came just in time to meet her 6th uncle family as well since it's new years eve...we ate the nasilemak her mami made for us...the food was really bagus and the chili was shiok..then we had BBQ with her family..eileen and lilin spotted the pool table and in the playroom and embarked into their pool routine..After the BBQ, the whole family went out together on a family car for sightseeing and to see fireworks...the feeling was really awe inspiring...cause i never had such an experience before like this b4..big family outing..After the countdown to 2008, cecelia's very hyper papi brought us to lembang for supper...he kept buying loads of food for us...for a moment we were feeling like babi...so the day ended with us eating the whole day...and it's just the 1st day!!

drove us to do some shopping at the factory outlets..we went to couldn't resist learning from her...so in the evening, we head over to Korean House where the celebration was held...the meal was really We woke up a bit late at around 11pm..that day was cecelia's cousin (Yeecil)'s birthday...ceceliaRumah Mode...the clothes are pretty cheap...i bought an Abercombie berms which is $30-40 for aorund $10 bucks only...After that, we went to eat at Mie Rica..a shop selling noodles..The chili was damn shiok once again..couldn't resist even i ate until cry...After that, we did more shopping...but eileen and the rest were too tired...so we head back home...from then onward, eileen started her sleeping spree cause at night there are more events...cecelia's sister uwi is quite talented in guitar..eileensumptuous...met more of cecelia's family...her grandmother who can speak very fluent chinese...her 3rd uncle and family...the scene was rather heartwarming...we were so fortunate to be there with cecelia's big and fun-loving family...After the dinner, we went to Lemonade Cafe and Karaoke with her whole family...the room was very cheap...so much cheaper than singapore which counts by per head...cecelia's family left after singing an hour....we sang for 4 hours then everyone was shagged...cecelia's dad was so nice to come and fetch us home...

2nd Jan 2008

Arlien was suppose to come on this day but was delayed till next day...so we decided to watch movie at the shopping mall next to cecelia's home..movie tickets was $1.50 per pax..soo cheap..as a movie lover,i really hope this price was in Singapore...we met up with other fellow indo schoolmates Lydia and Stevie..both in multimedia...continue the eating spree...we watch Bee movie...everything was good..even better than GV..super big leg space...wide comfy chair..but the movie let it down...when we watched halfway..the movie started to flicker and poof..total black..there was a slight commotion there..but overall was still good...We went to walk around in the mall...before having dinner with Lydia and Stevie at a Hilltop Cafe...The hilltop Cafe was called Congo..there is ambiance , scenery and most of all good and cheap FOOD!!...Overall it cost around $10+ per person only...After the meal, we continue to enjoy the breeze and the beautiful scenery of Bandung...

Had a rough night, couldn't sleep well because of the barking of the dog..at first i tot is the dog at cecelia's house..but cecelia told me her dog hardly bark..and she said that it's her Batam neighbour who like to slaughter dogs for their meat...no wonder the dog was barking like Hell...such cruelty to animals...

Cecelia's papi decided to bring us out for sightseeing...before picking up arlien at the Xtrans..the scenery was beautiful..we took some time to take some photos and enjoy the view...ate her mum's delicacy...i ate 2 packets...guess i was too greedy...=P...kaili was sick because of the bumpy journey..we went to eat dinner at the mall...then our childishness kicks in ...we went to play the merry-go-round...did alot of cam-whoring...play alot of other games at the funworld until the mall was almost closed...when we went back, we played Uno stacko..then that night, disaster hits in...my stomach was rumbling...and i was feeling really unwell...somemore, the dog started to bark just when i was trying to sleep...worsened the condition...

Eileen sprained her leg somehow...3 down 1 to go...haha...heading to the Valley with the whole family..not to spoil the atmosphere..we just tagged along....eileen's stomach also started to act up on her...so paiseh..both of us need a toilet during the journey..they had to stop halfway for us...when we reached the Valley..it was pretty fun...and cold..so cold that her papi said that everyone was as if smoking...and it was indeed really cold...we all went out to take the scenery and visit the lake..cecelia's family seems to bond better with us now..can play and joke around..we had strawberries at the valley..was so shiok..for a moment, my stomach was okie...must be the chill that froze my stomach...it was cold without the wind...and when the wind blows..you can really feel the spikes all over your body...Damn Shiok...

After that, we went for more sightseeing..visited the strawberries farm...saw many tea plantation until eileen and me cannot take it..so we had to head back home 1st...cecelia's family continued to tour around...her family is really energetic...I was having diarrhea until cannot make it...so is eileen and kaili...we rested until night before we went to Valley Cafe for dinner...Practically only lilin, cecelia and arlien is eating...the rest of us just looking..was pretty bad...come to think of it was damn sad not to be able to get the gourmet...

Everyone was sick except for lilin...didn't really do much..except for some last minute packing and shopping...really have to thanks cecelia's mami for taking care of the 3 sick people...what a sad way to end the trip...but i don't regret coming to Bandung..cause i experienced family love and fun which i always wanted...Terimakaseh to cecelia's family for all the activities they have prepared for us...we really had Fun...

Now, that i am back...seems like i have just ended a dream and reality just Smacks right into my face...will missed cecelia's family...and my newly made friend...Fernando..=D
