Freshly Orientated..Go 1U
It's a day of joy and excitement for me cause i had my NAFA orientation today..I am now officially a member and student of NAFA..yeah~ The whole orientation was suppose to start at 9am sharp but in the end it started at 10am..Waited for sso long before the whole orientation starts..The freshmen where seperated into many different classes..from 1A to 1V and an art teaching class and we were given our student pass whereby it signifies our identity for these 3 years..I am posted to class 1U...At first i was kind of uneasy with my class because they were all strangers to me..Luckily, taufik breaks the ice and started introducing himself..then shira also introduce herself to me during a opening speech at campus 3 theatre..Hmm..seems like my class is not a bad one afterall..After the talk we toured around the 3 campus whereby the orientation leader introduced us to all the arts workplace, library and the classrooms..For this batches, i think we need to take another extra 2D & 3D Media studies( ceramics, metalsmithing, printmaking, and ink painting classes) I am still not sure which one i should take if i want to pursue major in interior design..After lunch, we gathered back at NAFA and we were brought into a classroom we introduced ourselves to one another..Now, i can remember all my classmates' names already..Allow me to introduced my class 1U ( two from china akiro and reginia..one indonesian, fifi..five malays, nora, shira, wirda, taufik and kid..and the rest are eileen, roger, alvin, anthony, amelia, denis and me!!
I have good memory right..Haha..After introduction, we played the normal orientation must have( icebreaker games ) and after that we were told that there will be a talent show whereby all the classes had to come out with something..after some discussion, we decided to do a dance whereby our teacher is non other than akiro! He is a great guy with personality for a china-borned.. He is kind of the punky type..During the talent show, we saw alot of lame performance..there is even one which is like a maim..whereby they just carried written words and walk past...-_-"..there is also one which is so profound that i am dumfounded..p.s it's the weirdly dressed girl and her friend who present a mimicked play on stage..Their english is so powerful!!So sad..I didn't managed to take any photos..*slap myself for not doing so...After the talent show, we collected our goodies bag and headed back home..I saw the timetable and it's so slack..
Monday 2.30-5.30 (3D studies)
Tuesday 8.30-1120 (Colour+2D design) and 2.30-5.30 (Basic Drawing+Comp) Wednesday 11.30-2.20 (History of VA)
Thursday 8.30-11.20( 3D/media studies) and 1130-2.20 ( Photo+ Creative imaging)
Friday 2.30-5.30 (Figure drawing)
Aiyo..i guess i will only appreciates it once i got my assignments and projects..I've heard that the expense for the materials is very great as well..Haiz ..how? I need sponsorship!!
