Musical Chairs!(Elderly Version)
What a day to start off today..When i was on the train reaching jurong east interchange, i saw a black line near the door of the CPF centre. When i got closer to the centre, i realize that the line was actually old people queueing at the door.Bad Omen..These people are actually queueing to withdraw their retirement account but from their perspective, they think that there is an additional $400 given by government for senior citizens and they also think the dateline is until saturday. It's because saturday is polling day and they think that after that government will stop giving them money. What a JOKE! Old people thinking are also hard to catch.
老人心,海底深

Guess when the 1st customer came? 6am in the morning!! She even brought a mini stool to sit.lol.The funny part is that she was not asking about the 62 years old retirement account withdrawal. Does Singapore government trains people to queue for unneccesary things? Is that the unique part of Singapore? Being Kaisu for precisely everything.Due to the continuous stream of elderly queueing for the so called $400 which is actually CPF top-ups to their CPF account, we decided to fork out about 50 seats just for the elderly to sit so that they don't have to stand for too long. It's like a snake mannerwhereby the elderly have to keep shifting to allow more people to sit down. That is where the FUN part came in. The start of a game of elderly musical chair..Woo...Even the elderly members think that they are being played around when they kept shifting forward and backward. Sometimes i tried to talk to them and tell them to come back another day, they are just too stubborn to listen. Now i know how 老顽固 come about. Only a small proportion of people are willing to listen. The rest they just say that they are too free, nothing to do, can afford to queue and wait then i got nothing to say already. Then WAIT For AS LONG AS YOU ALL WANT! I don't care! The queue lasted from 8am to 5 15 pm. Note: there is no stoppage in the middle. The longest record is during afternoon where the queue goes all the way past POSB bank and to the hawker centre. The greatest number of people queueing for the withdrawal at 62 is approximately 1000. Never knew that Singapore got so many elderly people above 62. Singapore is AGING man!

After work, the whole CPF branch celebrated Mag's actual birthday. They bought a fruit cake for her. Mag will be leaving tomorrow and Delorias will be taking over Mag's duty. Actually, she is already taking over Mag's duty as OIC. She another good OIC, damn hilarious talking to her and listewn to what she says. Think i will be enjoying another 4 more weeks at Jurong CPF.
