Blessed and Cursed
Yesterday, my whole family went down to Old Choa Chu Kang Road to pay respect to my grandparent..My grandmother actually got 3 homes...lol...We went to the pagoda to her new home 1st where she was placed with my grandfather..my great grandmother and my granduncles and grandaunts...
After that we walk to her old house where she was buried to clean up the tomb...She will be moving out after 5 more years...Today i went to her third home at bukit timah temple...where her 灵位 and my grandfather's 灵位 are placed there to allow us to pay respect to her easier...In the temple, i came across a excited fight between an uncle and a nephew...They seems to be english educated people...because they were scolding each other in english...The nephew was the source of the fight...he was grumbling on coming to the temple to pay respect to their ancester...he seems really unwilling to be there...then the uncle couldn't take it anymore and started to scold the nephew...then the nephew started to cry and rebutted back on his uncle...he was around 20 years old i think...then the uncle started to comment on his disrespect to elderly...and not able to take such comments like a man...To me i think the nephew was in the wrong...Are nowadays youngster so unwilling to pay respect to the deceased?..Even if the nephew was unwilling...he should at least try to show some respect to the dead and not make a fuss out of it...It 's a form of Filial Piety OK!!!The uncle was also in the wrong also because he was making a big scene in the temple and spoils the tranquility there...and he also embaressed his nephew in front of everyone in the temple...现代的年轻人真的是不象话...

Yesterday night, went to Marina bay's Dragon Village to celebrate weibin's and mingzhi's birthday...quite a while since i had steamboat...so it was pretty fun...Oh btw a BIG thanks for the really belated birthday gift from chunhoo and those who chipped in...i Love it since my earphone just spoil also...reall came at the right time...=) Not sure whether i am Cursed or Blessed...But right now i experienced more curse than bless...Hope things will brighten up...here are the photos...got one more group photo not taken...that one sure must take from hj..got a disgusting shot...=D
