Boutique Manager of the Day

Yesterday, i experienced my 1st time as boutique manager..because my other colleague was on off..It actually feels great being alone in the store at Raffles Hotel with music accompanying the whole day..i really feels that i am underpaid now..having to do full shift and not getting perm staff's pay...i am really fully utilized..

So working a day in the boutique all by myself..i managed to get a good sales of $1000+..Taking a toilet break was troublesome because i need to lock the front and back door..In the evening, met this really loving australian couple..the wife was a bit reserved...the wife caught and eye on 2 rings..and ask for her husband opinion at all times...persistantly asking whether he will buy her one of the rings...and the husband will always say no...in the end he still bought her both the rings..then she caught an eye on a necklace she really likes...but the husband kept saying no..then he secretly wisper to me.." put it in with the 2 rings..but don't let her know"...So sweet...Even though he appears to be a male chauvinist..but actually he really cares about and loves her...

After 3 weeks of delay..i finally got my 1st pay for this job...yeah man...Finally...Work is starting to go into routines..

1015-1030 : sit outside the store..waiting for someone to open the door
1030 : Finally my colleagues came
1030-1100 : as my collegues change to her attire..i switch on the radio, lights...clean the display and cut stocks
1100-1400 : waiting pethetically for customers to walk in..Yawning..
1400-1500 : colleague went for lunch break..when she not around..customer starts to pop in one by one..Grrr....
1530-1630 : wonder i went half and hour late...it's because i still serving customer..always like that
1630-1945 : More yawning and waiting for customers...
(ps: 98.7 really Sucks..Kept repeating the same songs everyday..)
1945 2000 : colleague start to change to casual attire and i clean up the display
2000 : on the dot head home...

Been catching American idol lately..I like Blake Lewis's vocal and how he plays with it...I think i begining to love contemparory music...Kudos to the other two finalist..Lately, i have been playing around with the window display...kept changing the postitions to KILL my TIME in the boutique..Time really past faster when you are doing something..Believes Me..Life seems so stale lately..I need my LIFE back!!!
