Survivor Amazing Race: Singapore
Welcome to the 1st season of Survivor Amazing Race: Singapore...Competition is great and stake is high...you will need to outrun,outwit and outlast..to be a winner of your own...The rule is simple.."Never give up!"
Today,i was suppose to wake up early in the morning around 330am..guess what..i woke up at 245am..and i went back to sleep to once again awoken to realize that it's 4am...i got only 30mins to run over to Choa Chu Kang Stadium for the chartered bus..luckily i was able to catch it...Reached around 505am to meet up with miz to deposit the bag together..we were awed by the super long queue for the bag deposit...when we reach the area..it was pretty empty...i wonder why so many idiots wanted to queue up for...kind of pointless....Guess who we saw while waiting for the marathon to start...the ex Maj Alfred Fox, Lt William and some others whom we don't really recognized...but they didn't see us...=D As the marathon flagged off..we were still strolling behind for the front runners to go..Around 5 mins of the marathon, i could already see a huge number of people standing in a line at the bush pissing...can't they be more civilized...and what is wrong with their bladder man...just starting and already bursting...and stand the insightful scene...
I think deep heat is almost the limelight of the day...only after 15mins and people already started to rub and spray deep heat..some even worst...rub their legs from beige to white...i know it's free but also no need to be so kiasu right...One by one runners were slowly eliminated...due to heaven's calling and kaisuism...I am glad i am still able to run for 15km before i start my walkathon...I always hate turning point because there is always false hope...when u think the front is a turning point...it turns out to be a continuation of the route...
During the middle of the race..i was feeling really sleepy until i was sleep running...then my body began to fail on me...here cramp there cramp everywhere cramp cramp..Old Kyuu Donald had a run ...Aiya Aiya Ooh...Then around the 34km part, there is this really irritating DJ...she said some lame jokes like " I really hope i can join your in the run..but my body says NO"..." To those who are running their first marathon..I can only say WOW(ur sure can walk)"..."Woo..I see a man holding his banana walking towards me"..really cannot stand her...
Near the end of the race, i was able to beat Spiderman...maybe he ran out of spider web...and my timing as stated on the board is 06:52:28...I thought i ran 8hours plus...cause i ran from 430am to 1230pm...I think is either my Maths fail or their Maths fail...got a 42 km finisher T-shirt and a medal..i guess it will be harder for me to run another 42km marathon in future..it's really a test of endurance...People without patience will definitely not be able to finish..It's really an accomplishment to run a full marathon...Just completing it is already an achievement..okay time for me to recuperate and have my beauty sleep..hope my legs will be okay after my sleep...
