Fabulous Feb!!
Happy Chinese New Year Everyone...This month is truely a fabulous one for me..though not much event...I am contented with what i have..
On Chinese New Year Eve 除夕
There is no lesson on Wednesday because kenneth's lesson was conducted on Tuesday instead...Since there is no lesson, i decided to call my movie buddy miz for a movie since he had a make up class on that day..We decided to watch at Yishun GV since it's somewhere in between our home...I wanted to watch Sweeney Todd for some time so we decided to watch it..It's the 1st time I watch at Yishun GV...not bad..kind of funny for the snack bar to be inside the cinema after u gave ur tickets..Combo of the week was Jay Chou's KungFu Dunk with Free bottle a $7.50 for GV members.. so we decided to get that...Sweeney Todd is a really sad and bloody movie...with a sad ending...It's pretty musical like moulin rouge..but i like the songs too...really catchy..So funny to watch a bloody movie on CNY eves..but seeing red could be a good omen...After the movie, i head back home for CNY eve steamboat...This year is a bit special..a fish head steamboat for a change...Nice to have the whole family sitting down on a round table eating together...such a blessing..
On the 1st day of CNY 初一
Woke up quite late..staying up pretty late to 守岁...My brother was working so this year it's just me and my mum going to relatives house...my dad is as usual lazy to go out...I went to my maternal grandpa house...he is my only grandparent who is still alive..but his health seems to be detoriating.. he can't seems to remember my mum..and his childrens...Hope that he can stay healthy...After that, we went over to my uncle's (二舅) house...every year we will visit his house..and his house will the the site for my other relatives to gather...my 大姨 have 4 daughters..the eldest is married with a son..the 2nd and third have boyfriends and heard that they are marrying this and next year...the 3rd daughter is just 1 year older than me..and she is getting married already..OMG..time really flies...We played poker together as always...and i won a little this year...so much better than last year...
On CNY day 2 初二
What can i say..Stayed at Home..do nothing..kind of guilty not doing any homework...just kept watching dramas, anime, movies on internet....There goes my day...
On CNY day 3 初三 which is today
I went to watch CJ7 with miz again...the movie is quite touching but i think it's not up to Stephen Chow's standard..quite a let down from him...his earlier films were actually much better...but the alien and the boy is really cute...After the movie, i went to work...YEs Work on CNY day 3.. cause one of my colleagues went back to Malaysia to celebrate her CNY..but since i am not doing anything...i just work...My manager Serena is so nice...she gave me a ang bao...Happy CNY to you!!...At night was quite surprise that my JSS friends came to have dinner with me...because i thought the dinner was canceled...but the more surprising and touching part is yet to come...i was thinking that it was just a normal gathering...cause i only had 1 hour dinner break...We ate at Thai Accent..a resturant which i always wanted to go..cause everytime i passed by i will smell the fragrance of tom yam and lime...After we ate finished, yuan zhou pulled out a bag of thing for me...then i realized that it was for my 23th birthday which is just 2 weeks away...They gave me a travel backpack which i always wanted as listed in my wishlist...Thanks for making my wish comes true..I love it very much..Now i can go backpack travelling with it....=D and Thanks for the dinner treat...so looking forward for the potluck on 23rd or 24th...I will fixed some good food on that day...Working tml morning also..but i am so hyped up to sleep....because tml got steamboat dinner at my schoolmate Lilin's house..
